| A nagyméretű mezei szilfák a legelőkön igazi ritkaságnak számítanak, gyérfás legelőink fajtagazdagságához járulnak hozzá. A mezei szil jól bírja a szárazságot így a klímaváltozással beálló szárazabb klímában is fontos alternatíva lehet a csapadékszegény kimondottan száraz legelőkön. Mezei szilként elég magas tengerszint feletti magasságon, 900 m található. /Ulm de câmp de această dimensiune este greu de găsit în pășunile cu arbori din zona județului Covasna. această specie este foarte importantă pentru că poate contribui la diversitatea pășunilor cu arbori. Suportă ariditatea astfel poate fi o alternativă în urma schimbărilor climatice când uscăciunea poate deveni un impediment serios pentru arbori izolați din pășuni, specie de silvostepă. Ca si ulm de câmp se găsește la o înălțime neobișnuit de ridicată, 900 m, aproape de limita județului Covasna cu Harghita. /Field elm is a rarity with such a dimension in the wooden pastures from our region, Covasna county. The field elm contributes to the diversity of wooden pastures. This species could be an alternative in a drier climate due to the climate change, in the future dry wooden pasture. The position of this field elm is at an unusual elevation, 900m. | |
