    A Kocsányos tölgy gyérfás legelőink fő fafajtája, ezek a fák évszázados tájhasználat nyomait mutatják, az ember és természet megtalált harmóniáját. Az állattenyésztés egyik legfontosabb támasza volt a bő makktermő években. Ezek a fák sok egyéb élőlénynek is otthont adnak és a biodiverzitás fenntartását is szolgálják. Kápolnabérc mint neve is mutatja a hajdani Dobó nevű település egykori helyét jelöli. Régi kápolnarom mutatja hogy egykor lakott lehetett a most gyönyörű százados fákkal borított legelő. Egyedi és hihetetlenül értékes ez a még mindig jelentős területen fekvő gyérfás legelő. Sajnos minden évben eltűnik néhány évszázados fa melyet kivágnak vagy kiégetik a tövét. Körülbelül egy 300 m sugarú körben öt hatalmas, 400 cm kerület feletti fát találtunk.
