Copacul a fost selectat ca fiind una dintre cele mai bătrâni și valoroase arbori din localitatea Sânsimion, de către elevii locali (Grupul Junior Ranger), în cadrul unui proiect cu titlul „Junior Rangeri pentru natură” (finanţat de Fundația pentru Parteneriat şi MOL România) | |
