| Arborele este important datorita dimensiunii si a sistemului ecologic in contextul careia este situat. Avand dimensiune considerabila, este valoros pentru biodiversitate si din perspectiva estetica si culturala. Expertii au identificat 'furnica de stejar' ('furnica stejarului') si galerii ale larvelor de criotor mare. Pasunea este habitat iportant pentru specii cu statut de conservare cum ar fi radasca, graurul, izvorasul cu burta galbena si altele. | |
