| Acum 3 ani, de-a lungul șoselei care leagă Periam de Variaș, puteai admira remarcabili ca în poza de mai sus. Autoritățiile au decis că sunt prea periculoși și au fost măcelăriți zeci de plopi, singurii care au scăpat sunt cei de pe proprietatea unui fermier care nu a permis ca acești *bătrâni* să fie tăiați. Dacă și ceilalți proprietari s-ar fi opus și în zilele actuale ne-am fi putut bucura de măreția arborilor. | |

Send us a short e-mail for tamas.reka@poganyhavas.ro in which kindly clarify what kind of responsibility you want to fulfill (for example regular visit of the tree and reporting about the condition of the tree; uploading new photos to the website; discussion with locals about the values of old trees; organizing programs; financial support for conservation actions on old trees and wood pastures; other innovative activities – we are happy about any initiative, just present us in an e-mail).
