| Consider că valorile culturale și naturale sunt cele mai importante în acest caz deoarece vechimea acestui plop îl plasează în memoria și amintirile locuitorilor acestui sat de cel puțin 50 de ani. Acesta reprezintă o „mejdă” între două loturi de pământ, un reper de indicare a unor zone denumite „Valea Cornilor” și „Cetățele” și era oaza de umbră și odihnă în deplasarea spre munca câmpului. Plopul acesta este și locul de cuibărit pentru mai multe specii de păsări. | |
