| Printre cei mai mari tei din tara. Teiul Unirii de la 1918 din localitatea Basesti este marcat cu panourile info ale Academiei României ca fiind monument al naturii. Se spune despre Teiul Unirii că ramurile sale semnifică cele trei provincii istorice româneşti, iar sub umbra coroanei sale conducatorii naţiei române conduşi de George Pop de Băseşti au pus la cale tactica şi strategia de unificare a Transilvaniei cu România, eveniment care s-a înfăptuit la data de 1 decembrie 1918. | |
