| Localnicii il denumesc Plopul lui Kiss Karoly. Se presupune ca are o varsta de peste 300 ani si ca ar fi cel mai gros arbore de pe valea Almasului. De fapt sunt doi plopi ingemnati la baza, unul avand 786 cm circumferinta la 130 cm, iar celalalt 680 cm. Trunchiul mai putin gros s-a prabusit in urma unei furtuni. Din pacate a fost ars de niste ciobani in urma cu cativa ani chiar la ingemanarea celor doua trunchiuri, situatie in care arborele a pierdut putin din grosimea initiala. | |
