| Circumferinta a fost estimata comparand persoanele din imagine, considerate de inaltime medie cu diametrul arborelui. Cu aceste dimensiuni ar fi cel mai gros tei din Romania. Teiul de la Cămărzana era până nu demult un falnic exemplar de tei argintiu (Tilia tomentosa) cu înălţimea de 38 m şi diametrul de 3,50 m la baza.Cu câţiva ani în urmă însă, o furtună a reuşit să-l doboare, nelăsând din el decât partea inferioară a trunchiului cu o înălţime de 7 m, ocupat de o uriaşă scorbură. Pentru a-i afla vârsta biologicii au efectuat o serie de calcule dendrometrice, şi au ajuns la concluzia că teiul nostru a depăşit 700 de ani de existenţă (sursa informatii ziarul Satmareanul, sursa poza ,,monumente-ale-naturii-declarate-prin-hcj-satu-mare-nr-4-1995'', PPT). | |
