| Se estimeaza ca acesta ar fi cel mai batran arbore din Sibiu. Parcul natural Dumbrava este străbătut de pârâul Trinkbach care pe traseul său formează trei lacuri. În parc în principal cresc stejari de diferite vârste dar şi ulmi, tei, arini, jugastrii si cireşi sălbatici. În general stejarii au în jur de 100 de ani dar există câteva exemplare seculare precum acesta care are o varsta estimata la 600 ani. Se remarca şi buturuga de lângă han cu o circonferinţă de circa 10 m aparţinând unui stejar uscat care la tăiere avea o varsta estimata la 700 de ani. | |
