| Unul dintre cei mai batrani peri padureti din jurul Clujului. Pare mult mai varstnic comparativ cu datele asociate circumferintei, posibil ca urmare a substratului calcaros dur foarte aproape de suprafata. Sunt mai multe exemplare de peri padureti pe aceasta pajiste, dar aceasta este cel mai batran. Din nefericire starea lui de sanatate este una precara. A fost masurat in sectiunea in care tulpina e cea mai subtire, in conditiile in care are mai multe noduri. In arealul din jurul arborelui nu se mai pasuneaza si vegetatia arbustiva tinde sa ocupe tot mai mult loc. Unii peri de pe Valea Garbaului au inceput sa se usuce in ultima perioada de timp. | |
