| Arborele de tei este un miracol al naturii, florile sale alina sufletul, vindecă psihicul și au grijă de trup, din floarea sa putem culege un strop de tămăduire, teiul fiind un arbore al păcii și dreptății. Ramurile de tei înflorit sunt aduse acasă sfințite de preot la Rusalii, în vechime lemnul de tei era considerat sfânt . Teiul cu frunză mică în formă de inimă din curtea Primăriei comunei Căbești are o vechime de aproximativ 300 de ani, având înălțimea de aproximativ 28 m, prezintă la înălțimea de 6 m un număr de 3 trunchiuri, reprezintând ca simbol istoric cele trei provincii Românești . Veteranii de război povestesc că își amintesc teiul în forma actuală, fiind martorul tuturor vremurilor care s-au abătut asupra comunității. | |
