| Despre acest stejar, legendele și locuitorii din zonă spun că ar fi martorul bătăliei purtate de către Ștefan cel Mare la Baia. Dacă ne luăm după spusele locuitorilor și după legendele locului, putem spune că acest exemplar de stejar are peste 500 de ani (Bătălia a avut loc la 14-15 decembrie 1467). Stejarul se află la câteva zeci de metri de ruinele bisericii ridicate de către Alexandru cel Bun, înconjurat de gardurile proprietăților din jur, destul de ferit de ochii lumii. Acest stejar nu prezintă o plăcuță indicatoare. Din păcate este cunoscut și protejat doar de locuitorii comunei. | |
