| Acest arbore are o importanta multipla. In primul rand dimensiunea exceptionala pentru aceasta zona de deal(circumferinta 530 cm). La fel de important este din punct de vedere al varstei acestui arbore, care este martor al schimbarilor ce au avut loc in zona respectiva din punct de vedere istoric si nu numai. Nu in ultimul rand rolul acestui arbore este unul ecologic, rol prin care ajuta la mentinerea biodiversitatii in proximitatea sa, zona in care este localizat face parte din sit NATURA 2000 - ROSCI 0135 Padurea Barnova-Repedea. | |
