  • Natural value: la nivelul trunchiului, stejarul are o porţiune moartă, însă acest fapt permite insectelor şi altor specii să se adapostească.

  • Positive interventions: dimensiunea arborelui a determinat o uşoara înclinaţie de-a lungul anilor,iar ca acest fenomen să nu ducă la distrugerea exemplarului, din 2019 stejarul este susţinut cu trei piloni metalici care asigura stabilitate acestei specii.

    Acest stejar este unul dintre primele exemplare care au apărut în Grădina Palatului Episcopal Romano Catolic din Oradea. Din păcate nu există vreun document care să ateste anul sau scopul exact al plantării, există însă poze şi cărţi poştale datate la începutul anilor 1900 unde putem observa aceasta specie. După dimensiunea speciei aproximăm că acest stejar a apărut aici în anul 1838, însemnând că tinde spre o vârstă considerabilă de peste 130 de ani, devenind un monument natural al istoriei.
