| Aproape de satul Rogojel, în locul numit „Dealul Domnului” se găseşte unul dintre puţinele exemplare de Sequoia gigantică, adus acum mai bine de 100 de ani din S.U.A. de către fostul moşier Silvestru Gal („Domnul”) şi plantat lângă reşedinţa sa de vară de la Cărmăzan, teritoriu ce ulterior a primit denumirea de „Dealul Domnului”. Având o circumferinţă ce abia o cuprind patru persoane, trunchiul se desprinde în două tulpini gemene, care se înalţă semeţe peste arborii din jur la peste 40 m înălţime.
