  • Other: În părculețul din jurul Monumentului închinat memoriei Eroilor Comunei Poiana Mare morți în Războiul pentru Întregirea Neamului.
    • Importance
    Parcul din jurul monumentului mai conține și alți platani de dimensiuni mari, cu circumferința de peste 200 sau 300 cm. Arborele prezentat este cel mai mare dintre ei. Consider că este important atât datorită amplasării, în părculețul aflat vis-a-vis de Parcul Central Poiana Mare, în apropiere de Primărie și de Biserica Sf. Arhangheli Mihail și Gavril, dar și pentru că are vecini cu potențial de a fi remarcabili. Totodată consider relevant și faptul că acești arbori au crescut în zona sudică, afectată de secetă și chiar deșertificare.
